DigitalMe will be attending this year's bMobLe conference in Bradford. Bradford Mobile Learning network conference takes place on Thursday 19th June and this year’s theme is Keeping Creative in the New Computing Curriculum.
Tim Riches will be at the event to run a session about Mozilla Open Badges & the new computing curriculum.
Mozilla Open badges are a new agile way to recognise achievement. They give educators the flexibility to recognise and reward skills like teamwork, digital creativity and problem solving. With over 500,000 badges created by educators in and out of school worldwide, and growing endorsement from major technology companies, they are radically democratising the process of accrediting skills.
In this session you will:
- learn about how badges are created, issued & endorsed
- see examples of badges created by teachers & digital leaders which recognise skills from the new computing curriculum
- start to design your own badges
By attending this session you will earn an 'Open Badges 101' badge.
